Cole's 3 month and Hunter's 3 year photo shoot

I just got the pictures back from our photo shoot a few weeks ago.  They really turned out great!  There are way too many good ones to post, but here are some of my favorites. :)

Tooth #2

This poor little guy can't catch a break!  Cole's 2nd tooth has officially popped through.  Teething has been pretty rough on him so hopefully this will be it for a while.  Can't believe my little baby already has TWO TEETH!

 I have two teeth now.....see??!

T-Ball

Brace yourselves for cuteness overload.

Hunter started 3-4 year old T-Ball at the YMCA.  They've had one practice and one game.  It is SO CUTE to watch. The first practice was spent by just showing the kids where to run when the ball was hit.  But since then they have been fielding the ball, hitting and running the bases and really are doing pretty great!  You can't expect much at this age but it is great to have him play with other kids, run out some energy and learn a little bit of teamwork in the meantime. :)

Here are some of my favorite pics:

A tooth! Already??!?

Well....I wasn't prepared for this!  Cole's first tooth has officially popped through.  I honestly didn't even know it was getting close.  He was just at Dr. Dan's last week for his well check and there weren't any signs when he looked inside his mouth then.  Hunter drooled like crazy for months before his first tooth came in so I guess I was expecting the same for Cole.  But, I felt his gums on Monday and that little sucker was just starting to break through!  It is the bottom tooth on the left hand side and the one right next to it seems like it's not too far behind.  It makes me a little sad that his teeth are already coming in.  It just shows how fast he's already growing up!

4 months

Coleman had his well check with Dr. Dan this afternoon.  I can't believe he's already 4 months old.  4 months just sounds so much older than 3 months!

He is 24 inches (20th %) and 14 lbs, 4 oz (50th %).  He had 4 shots and didn't handle them all so great this time.  The first two were a shock and by the time he got the third and fourth he was screaming REALLY hard.  I felt so bad for him....these little guys get so much when they're so little.

But, he checked out well and is growing like a weed!  He's grown 5 inches and has more than doubled his birth weight in the past 4 months.  That's a lot of growing!

He's getting better about riding in the car.  Sometimes he actually even falls asleep, so I would say we have about a 60% scream guarantee at this point. :)  He's still not sleeping or napping great but he is laughing and I LOVE IT.

Camp

Hunter went to summer camp at our church this past week.  It was the very first time I've left him in any sort of "school" scenario and he did GREAT.  I was a little (ok, "a little" is a small understatement) sad dropping him off the very first day but he was totally fine and honestly didn't even seem to mind.  He is starting preschool in the fall so I thought this would be a good preview for him of what it would be like.

Dropping him off the first day -

(I added this one b/c I got this jumprope for him and gave it to him when I picked him up one day and he told me it was "girly", which made me laugh because I've never heard him say that before, nor do I know where he picked that term up...)

I LOVED this place.  I wish we lived closer so he could go there for his preschool years.  The director of the school knew it was my first time leaving him and she texted me a picture with a very nice message the first day and it just made my day.  His teacher was awesome, the other teachers knew his name and would say hi to him in the hallway and it was just great.

He went from 9am-2pm every day this week.  He was so tired at the end of the day and fell asleep every day on the ride home.  I am SO happy that he had so much fun and that it went so well.  I already know he's a very social kid, but it made me so proud to see him just go sit down and play with the other kids as I was walking out of the room and it didn't even phase him.  It really got me excited for preschool and for everything that comes with it - learning, making new friends, and plenty of super cute crafts/projects for my fridge. :)

On a different random note.....Hunter likes to tell knock knock jokes now.  He makes a knocking motion which his hand when he's telling them and he makes them up himself, which is even funnier to me.
